Discovering Zack Grooves and His Journey
To begin this article I must mention how I came to know this Band and it’s drummer, YouTube’s Zack Grooves, Zack Graybeal. Back in 2019, I discovered this young drummer playing with The Toes In The Sand Band, a resort band, hiring talented musicians to entertain guests at the Breakers Hotel. Although they played covers, Zack had a distinctive style about his playing which peeked my interest.
Move into the future, Covid takes on the world, the music entertainment business takes a turn and so does Zack! Then comes YouTube! Zack enters the world of content creator and with his amazing chops and witty sense of humor, becomes a huge success! His success led him to being picked up as an endorser for Dixon Drums and Meinl Cymbals.
After Covid when the world started opening up again, Zack began traveling and doing drum clinics throughout the world.
While Finding success with his social media fame, he went into the studio with Everything Yes, consisting of his brother Nathan and old friends from college. Their First Album, Volume 1, released in 2023 and their 2024 release Volume 2, takes us down the path of a Jazz Fusion, chop orientated, drummer’s dream! Creating grooves on odd time measures, seem to come easily for the members of Everything Yes.

A Night of Unforgettable Music at Triumph Brewery
The band hit the stage with some new material and fired up the audience for the rest of the evening with their complete catalog of songs from Volumes 1 & 2, as well as new songs, soon to be on their 3rd recording. Needless to say, the audience was filled with aspiring drummers, all gathered to hear the tremendous chops of “ZackGrooves” of YouTube fame. They were certainly not let down. It would be a night of continuous blazing chops and groove that are his signature! But, if you thought that was what Everything Yes was about, you would be very wrong! This band kicks a$$! From the original compositions that are mostly written by Sean Reeser to the absolute astonishing musicianship of each member, makes this a band for all listeners pleasure!

Following the show, all the members made themselves available to everyone who wanted to have a conversation with them. They were very humble and appreciative and spent a lot of valuable time with fans, even though they still had to travel to Harrisburg, PA. that same night! Their tour picks up in Pittsburg, PA the next day and continues throughout the East coast for six more dates! Would love to see them back in NJ again soon!
