These past two weeks produced some of the finest Live Blues music in a long time. December 4th, the legendary Stanhope House, Stanhope, NJ. EarthShare, NJ’s premier ecology nonprofit held its inaugural blues event and fund raiser. Then on Saturday December 11th, the Help a Brother Out fundraiser for Don Rispoli, veteran drummer for the Jo Wymer Band, in need.Two great days of incredible music. Three was the charm for the 3rd installment of the JSJBF CNI Blues Jam.
Blues star Samantha Fish returned to the Stone Pony with 2 of her local bandmates – Sarah Tomek from Ocean Township and JSJBF’s own Matt Wade of Point Pleasant.
Oct 2nd, the local JSJBF competition to represent at the International Blues Challenge!
Friday Aug 6th Blue Collar Blues featured Slim and the Perkolators. Tim “The Percolator” Perks, Derek “Harmonica Slim” Matteson, Dave Young, and Sean McIntyre.
