Music Scholarships
JSJBF offers yearly scholarships to graduating seniors who plan to major or minor in music or a related field. These awards honor former members & friends, and we are very grateful for the generous contributions that allow us to continue this tradition.

The Mark LaRochelle Youth Open Mic
The Mark LaRochelle Youth Open Mic program is sponsored by the Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues Foundation. This program supports and encourages young musicians to perform. The program also raises funds for our music scholarships (above).
Started by our dear friend and late Board of Trustees member Mark LaRochelle, these open microphone nights occur one Friday night a month providing. Any young musician under the age of 21 is welcome to perform or attend. All are welcome to attend and enjoy the music.
