Glenn Govier is a Bassist-at-Large who has served the NY/NJ Blues community for over 30 years. Main music projects have included Carlos Colina & Straight Up, The Shades and Rough & Ready. Over the years, he has been privileged to sub with some very talented local Blues artists including Kane Daily, "Brother Dave' Solomon, Peter Hansen, Rich Chorne, Joe Taino, the late Nikki Armstrong, Highway 13 Blues Band, Johnny Feds & the Blues Boys, Chip Larison & Catfight Blues Band, and Walt Whitney & the Distractions. Founder of the NY/NJ Blues Collective; co-founder of United Jersey Blues Network (UJBN, defunct), Glenn currently resides in Huntington NY with his wife, singer-songwriter Marian Mastrorilli (https://marianmastrorilli.com) and continues to perform locally with various artists/projects.
