The Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues Foundation’s 2022 International Blues Challenge Winner Band Get Outta Town Fund Raiser!
The SlideWinder Blues Band is this year’s JSJBF International Blues Challenge winner band. They are well known for delivering a high-energy mix of Texas, Chicago and Delta blues to the festival scene and have opened for the likes of Sonny Landreth and Marcia Ball. They’re inductees of the PA Blues Hall of Fame, with a #3 song on the RMR Blues Radio Chart. You can hear them, or even play with them at “The Every Thursday Funk ‘n Blues Jam” at Havana in New Hope, PA.
They are currently preparing to compete in the International Blues Challenge! Bands from all over the US and internationally have qualified on a regional level and earned an opportunity to compete on the world stage in Memphis Jan 24-28 2023. They are one of the bands who have earned a well-deserved spot but they need your help getting to Memphis. Also – the SlideWinder Blues Band will be hosting a “Get Outta Town” party with special guests at the Havana club in New Hope PA on Sunday January 8, From 3 to 6PM. Suggested donation is $20 and it promises to be an extremely memorable afternoon.
