Robert Hill, originally from North Little Rock Arkansas, has been living in the New York area for the past 30 years. He was inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame in 2014. An award-winning artist, not only for his slide guitarwork, but also for his songwriting, winning in numerous songwriting competitions including Billboard, Unisong, and the ISC. His songs have been used in numerous television series and commercials, both nationally and abroad. His latest release, Revelation, made the Grammy ballot for Best Traditional Blues Album, and has been charting on the RMR, NACC, UK IBBA ,and Australian Blues & Roots charts since it’s release September 2022. Joining Hill on vocals is Simone, who brings a background rooted in Blues, Motown, Jazz, R&B and Soul, with Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles as major influences. Rounding out the band is Eric Puente on drums and Steve Gelfand, bass. The band adds their own unique interpretations to traditional classics, as well as performing many of their own compositions. With searing slide guitar, exceptional vocals, and a rhythm section of seasoned veterans, they are known for jaw-dropping, entertaining performances.
