International Blues Challenge ~ Update

After considerable discussion, the Board of Directors of the Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation has decided not to hold a local competition this year to chose a band to send to the Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge in Memphis in January of 2017. A major factor in the decision is the need for the Foundation to focus on fundraising events for its operation funds so that it can continue the programs that it sponsors and the other major events it holds.

The IBC Committee will still be participating in selecting a CD to send to this year's Blues Foundation's Best Self Produced CD Competition. A separate email with the information on that will be sent out to the bands shortly and posted on our web site.
