The JSJBF Education Program
Sharing the Knowledge Sharing the MusicThe JSJBF Education Program plays an important role in fulfilling the mission of the JSJBF which is to preserve, promote and perpetuate Jazz and Blues music in the northern New Jersey shore region through performance and education The Education Committee is achieving the Foundations goals through our JSJBF Community Outreach Programs such as the Jazz and Blues Youth Project, a mentorship program for young musicians ages 12-18, and Jazz and Blues in the Schools, a program that transcends the title and spills out into all services and facilities of the community. JSJBF members who serve on the Education Committee volunteer their time and educational/musical backgrounds to formulate new programs and expand on existing ones. The members realize the importance of preserving, teaching and passing on the traditions and rich history of Jazz and Blues. If you have any questions or comments about the JSJBF Education Program, please contact the JSJBF Office: Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation (JSJBF) PO Box 8713, Red Bank, New Jersey 07701 phone: 732-933-1984 email: info@jsjbf.org Sincerely, Patti Wade, JSJBF Education Committee Co-Chair Committee Members
